D13-IPS

Volvo Penta D13-IPS was designed to deliver powerful performance, excellent maneuverability, unparalleled comfort on board, and longer range with less fuel consumption and emissions. The perfectly matched engine, transmission and drive - characterized by twin counter-rotating propellers - create an unmatched experience on the water. The robust engine was built to last with a rigid cast iron cylinder block and cylinder head, offering reliability and long-term durability. The entire package is integrated from helm to prop through the Electronic Vessel Control (EVC) with the option for experience-enhancing add-on features such as Glass Cockpit, cruise control and more.

The SCR unit, also a silencer, reduces noise by 35-40 dBA. Volvo Penta has been able to fulfil IMO III exhaust emission targets while maintaining the same low fuel consumption. And thanks to SCR, the engine power output remains unaffected.
